In a proactive effort to enhance safety and reduce the risks of fire outbreaks, PRIDE, with funding from USAID and IOM through the Rapid Response Fund (RRF), has successfully installed a fully equipped fire station in Fariya Gidan Block IDP Camp, Jere LGA, Borno State.
This vital intervention provides the camp with essential fire prevention and response capabilities, ensuring that residents have access to immediate support in case of emergencies. The fire station is part of a broader initiative to improve camp safety and mitigate risks in densely populated settings.
PRIDE remains dedicated to protecting vulnerable communities by implementing sustainable measures that prioritize their safety and well-being. This project reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering resilience and enhancing disaster preparedness in displacement settings.
